Apples, Up, Underwater, Reading Buddies, Fall Trees, Shaving Cream Leaves

Apple handprints to go along with the apple poem we learned.



We played a balloon game as we learned about the letter U.  We had to keep the balloon UP at all times. Quite fun. 

 Along with our letter U study, we also put on music and pretended to swim Underwater.

I love it when they choose to read to each other during center time.

Making leaves on our fall trees.

We made shaving cream leaves.  We made a layer of shaving cream in a container, added some drops of food coloring, mixed the colors up a bit, and then placed a piece of paper on top. 

 This is what our papers looked like when we finished.  We then took these papers and cut leaves out of them.  You can see these leaves on the door to our classroom.
