Egg Passing, Math Cubes, Cutting, Tweezers, and Leaf Rubbings

While learning about the letter E, we played a game where we passed an egg around the circle in measuring cups.  We had to be very careful not to let it fall on the floor. I loved watching them use teamwork to keep the egg safe.

During our match time, each student has 5 colored cubes. I'd call out a number and they would have to show me that number cubes from their group.

We practiced cutting on the lines.

We used tweezers to transfer a group of leaves from one basket to the other.  Wonderful practice for our fine motor skills.
We did leaf rubbings as we talked about the different fall leaves.
